Choose the group count
If 17 learners need four tables, enter four groups. The maker shuffles the roster, then distributes entries in turn. You will get one group of five and three groups of four.
Run the assignment
Paste the roster in Name Mode or use Number Mode with numbered sign-in cards. Choose Make groups and check every group before sending learners to their tables.
Plan exceptions in advance
For an activity with fixed support or access needs, define the eligible roster and grouping rule first. The tool makes a random allocation from its inputs. It does not apply pairing constraints.
Try Random Group Maker or return to all guides.
