Random tools for everyday decisions
FLIPNIVA helps teachers, facilitators and meeting hosts make random selections from a list they define. Use it to choose the next speaker, pick volunteers, split a workshop into groups or assign seats. Open a tool in your browser and start without creating an account.
Choose a tool
- Moving Card Picker reveals a name or number when you select a card from a moving deck.
- Mystery Card Grid lets you reveal a random entry by turning over a face-down card.
- Name Roller shows a pick when you stop the reel.
- Lucky Draw Box draws one entry at a time.
- Multiple Name Picker chooses several distinct entries in a single draw.
- Random Group Maker shuffles entries into groups whose sizes differ by at most one.
- Random Order Generator shuffles the full list into a sequence.
- Random Seating Chart assigns entries to numbered seats in a layout with a fixed number of seats per row.
Use numbers or bring a list
In Number Mode, enter how many entries you need and the tool creates a list starting at 1. In Name Mode, paste one name or label per line or import a TXT or CSV file. You can save and update lists in the same browser, download a JSON backup to keep a copy of saved data, or export the current results as CSV.
What the draw can decide
The browser draws at random from the eligible entries you provide. Where No Repeat is available, it excludes entries already picked in that round. Card position and animation timing do not change the odds. Review the list and settings first, and make decisions about eligibility, accessibility and seating accommodations separately.
The guides explain tasks such as importing a roster and planning groups. The worked examples show what to enter and let you practice with sample data.
