- Number Mode · entries 1–10
Run the example
Randomize the ten IDs. Post the Position and Entry columns together. Ask students to locate their own ID in Entry and read the corresponding position.
Example output
Illustrative result. A new draw can produce a different selection or order.
| Position | Entry |
|---|---|
| 1 | 10 |
| 2 | 8 |
| 3 | 6 |
| 4 | 4 |
| 5 | 2 |
| 6 | 1 |
| 7 | 3 |
| 8 | 5 |
| 9 | 7 |
| 10 | 9 |
Check the result
There are ten distinct IDs and ten positions. If ID 9 appears at position 1, ID 9 presents first. Sorting the Entry column for display would erase the published order.
