Run the example
Write the passage order before the draw. Deal 16 numbered entries. For each passage, reveal a card and record its result beside that passage before selecting Continue.

Check the result
There should be three distinct readers and 13 entries remaining. The 12-card display limit does not limit the roster. Keep passage order fixed so no one can swap tasks after seeing a result.
